How To Determine What Version Of Vapor-Logic Control You Have
Look at your motherboard for the following.
- VL-1 has square-blue board/blue connectors 1995-2000
- VL-2 has green board/orange connectors 1995-2000
- **Note** VL2 was not a next generation of VL1. VL2 had an informal nick-name of VL Light. It was never used on gas and may have only been used on single-stage electric units such as CRU.
- VL-3 has a green board/blue connectors August 1999- 2009 (Released gradually, VaporMist and GTS first)
- VL-4 has a blue board/black connectors-June 2008- 2012 (Released gradually, a few products at a time)
- VL-5 has a green board/black connectors-Jan 2013 -June 2015 (Released all at once)
- VL-6 has a red board/black connectors-summer of 2015-current (Released all at once)
Vapor-logic Firmware Updates
